Okay, this map is so attractive, Multi's aesthetic forging completes the package. not to mention it plays well! I fell in love with the lift up to the sniper.
The combination of metal and natural pieces is really great to look at. This map is visually very impressive. It also has a solid design, with a good mixture of open and tight spaces, and good movement options/connections. To be completely honest, the frame rate was this maps demise when it came to the 1v1 contest. While it's minor at most spots, there's at least one spot (back platform behind the lift) where it's pretty detrimental. When it came down to it, this map had solid gameplay with framerate issues, and it was eliminated in favor of other maps that also had solid gameplay without any framerate issues. I have to say, it's really frustrating that the terrain pieces are so bad for framerate. There's so much visual potential going to waste with this version of forge because of how those pieces affect gameplay.
This. I appreciate this, so thank you very much. If the framerate was really that deterring of an issue then we could've gone through a deleted the top layer of fluff that towers above everything in the map, probably would've alleviated just about any performance drops. But no harm,, thanks anyways.
