Good morning ForgeHub Crew, My gamertag is FRYMEN, and I have been a member of the "underground forge world" since Halo 4. I started on HaloCustoms.com and was shocked at how many great maps, gametypes, mini-games, etc. that people would make. The craziest part was that that the commercial gamer usually doesn't even know of all the maps that exist in the Halo forge world. So, I started to host lobbies after playing a lot of matchmaking games with random people, and at times would sneak in some forge maps. Eventually, I became Customs host, and enjoyed it ever since. The best experience that I had in hosting was when Ricochet came to Halo 4. Lobbies were always full any day of the week, since it felt like Halo 4 became alive again. We even started a website for it (RicochetHub.com) and created a league, plus tournaments. Words can not explain the amount of greatness that Ricochet brought to my team and I. New friends, new rivals, and just a lot of fun (which is what gaming is all about, right?) So now, Ricochet is back and it's here for H2A! I have been looking for people to play Ricochet with, but I am now limited with the amount of Ricochet maps to host like I used to. With that said, it would be an honor to have more Ricochet forge maps for H2A (and H4) in the near future. Thanks for reading and have a great day, FRY PS - here are some H4 Forge maps that I edited for Ricochet and hosted lobbies with. Let me know what you think.
Hey Frymen, I saw your message on Live. It will probably be quite a while before I'll have the chance to setup Epicborough Keep for Ricochet. Feel free to do it yourself if you want to.
My map Regret was previously set up for Ricochet, but the lastest version in my f/s had the gametype stuff removed in an effort to cut down on object count. The old version should be available on the ForgeHub GT fileshare.
Thank you, sir. I went ahead and made Ricochet on your map. It feels good, but testing will be needed.
Thanks Secret. How do I get to the ForgeHub file share? What campaign mission and difficulty did it complete? Thanks.
