I'm interested in peoples thoughts on the filters you can use in forge (nova, colorblind, etc). Don't see many in core maps so it makes me wonder what the reason is. I always thought they made it too dark and were only practical in flood maps or mini games.

But I was forging today and spawned two filters and I actually kinda like the way they look. I know H2a forge has some issues with not spawning light effects and so on. Is it the same kind of deal with filters? Cheers

Nova on Nebula brightens the canvas up and doesn't mess with the contrast that much, so that's a great place to use it. i'd avoid using anything else though. they haven't looked natural since reach.

I have a combination of nova and juicy on Nebula. Don't know if i'll keep them though. I like the effect it has on the object colors.

This is a map that uses juicy on Skyward. Juicy and next gen can both look decent in combination with lights. I am probably going to update my clip thread this weekend. When I do there will be a map with next gen effects on it. Your map has to be very open for next gen to look good. Otherwise it is just to dark. Colorblind plus juicy also looks pretty nice.
