Each time I try to save my customized Infection Game-Type, it immediately loses its entire description and name the moment that I run it once.

Additionally, some settings get switched up, making it extremely annoying when you end up with an Alpha Zombie with a Magnum or a one-round game.

Is anyone else running into this?

I've noticed this. Every time you finish a custom game you have to re-select your custom gametype, else it loads the default gametype.

I believe he's talking about a similar but different issue. If you have a custom game type saved, load it, make some changes, and overwrite the saved game type, then it will change the name and description of the game type back to the default name. Similarly, all names and descriptions of game types in the temporary history are the default. We're stuck using save as for game types until they fix it, if they ever do. Then again, maybe you're running into a combination of both issues we're describing. Once you get past those, there will be many more to greet you.

With almost every gametype I make, it always shows the default name and description in-game, which sucks.

Like you, I have also had it, with the infection gametype, that when I save what the starting weapons are supposed to be, in-game it suddenly gives players a different weapon, and different secondary weapon. I think the weapon loadout stuff sometimes interferes with the player's weapon traits, even with weapon loadouts disabled.
