    Cool I guess.But what are they trieng to figure out?To see if mars can substain life, because I already thought that it couldn't so why waste alot of tax payers money on this?

    We are still looking for life somewhere other than Earth.Where life is water is.Thats why it landed on the Martian polar ice caps.
