Hey forgehub, i recently digitally downloaded splinter cell black list onto Ubisoft's game launchers U play. As most of you heard many people are having problems with the game, me i can launch the game but it crashes at the main menu cause of direct x 11 since you can only change those settings in game. Ive contacted Ubisoft support and did all there tips and tricks and still couldn't get it to work. So my question is. If i copy the whole Splinter Cell Blacklist game files just to my portable hard drive then un install it of my computer. can i paste those files back onto the computer and re install it without having to download the whole game again? My internet isn't very fast it took me a few days to download i got the digital copy free so that's why i downloaded it, normally i would buy the disk copy. Im only re installing it cause its possible something went wrong during the installation
My game kept crashing like 10 mins into gameplay, but there was a patch released and that fixed everything. Before you reinstall, have you tried downloading that?
There is no way for me even to play this game. ive done the update, done all the work arounds, even have spoke to ubisoft themselves. the game crashes as soon as i hit the start button. hopefully they patch this problem. cause there is no way for me to even play it!
