New Humble Bundle is out and I have to say it's an amazing deal. The average right now is a little under $5 and if you pay it, you get: Dead Space Medal of Honor Dead Space 3 Crysis 2 Ultimate Ed. Battlefield 3 The Sims 3 + Starter Edition Burnout Paradise Mirror's Edge If you don't know what the Humble Bundle is, it's where developers support charity by giving their games up for download through Steam or their own platform (like uPlay or Origin), and you get to decide how much you pay for your games and how much of it goes towards charity, the developer, and Humble Bundle themselves: you can get some if you donate like a dollar to the cause, and others make you pay what the average contributor pays (normally right around $5). Honestly, I only got it for Sims 3. BF is one of the worst series ever. Here is a superb example; On the "OMG U GAZ SHUD BWAI BUR FUR FWAR" video, they mention that "more realistic eye rendering leads to a more immersive story. Now, I don't remember playing Half Life and thinking "damn, this is FUN and all, but I just can't have FUN knowing that the eyes of these scientist people don't have partial reflection and refraction mapping." They're making excuses for the game being dull as a blunt stick from the start. Multiplayer is extreme crap. My computer gets 60+ FPS on high, but expect lag spikes on multiplayer down to 5, about every 2, maybe 3 seconds, depending on how often you fire before being spawnkilled by tryhard arses. Dead Space is just that; Dead HDD Space (ha.) Medge is alright Medal of Honour (PHAHAHHA) is just awful. It's basically (read: is) a rip off of all the ****ty parts of lolfield. THE SIMS. Crysis 2? Alright I guess. Yahtzee even went as far as sort of liking it! I've got Origin keys for everything bar BF3 and Sims going, so give us a shout if you want them!
BF3 is good IDK what you have against it. Sounds like a personal problem. Disc maps are trash though. Back to Karkand and everything after CQC was good. Better graphics + audio add a ton to the immersion when it comes to a game like BF.
So much this^ Except I didn't mind the disk maps. That and I'm too cheap to buy DLC The immersion aspect is very true though. The audio alone is very nice
