I'm looking to shuffle into this world but I'm not sure what I'm looking for or where to find it.
I wanna cook up some funky-a$$ beats and just spit some bull**** over it. This is for strict a
recreational pursuit, i'm not looking to break a sweat over the silliness that is sure to come
    out of this venture.

I need software. I need someone to take some baby steps with me.
feed me ideas here. or you may

You could buy some from me for $300. Or you could just pirate it like everybody else. I have a hunch which one is more viable. Can't blame ya.

LoL. I think we both know which is a more.. viable option. Especially with the way my checking account is looking these days.

    What program do you use?

I use a wide variety of programs because I have no life, mainly Cubase now though. I would recommend either Ableton Live or FL Studio though. Both are relatively easy to learn and have large communities to learn from. They're also the two easiest two pirate... Not that you should pirate them... I'm just stating facts. ;)

I've heard of FL Studio before, without a doubt. I'll check it out. Thank you, brother.

Yeah, FL Studio is simple ****, but can get difficult fast when getting into all the special things that it does.

I've been using FL studio for about 4 or 5 years now. I've produced over 100 songs ranging from dubstep to hip hop to dnb to glitch.

Here's my soundcloud account. All songs are available for download. http://www.soundcloud.com/dj-chook

If you wanna know how I do any of what I do, just ask. I have some helpful tips you could use if you're gunna download fl studio.
