Here is Dinosaur. The name has little to do with the build but it's inspired by a very special friend of mine. And who doesn't think Dinosaurs are cool?
Here are a few pictures to be going along with. It's a 2v2/1v1 symmetrical, compact map on Forge Island, and so far, it plays pretty fun.

    TOP CENTRE

INCINERATION CANNON, 2x shots, 3 mins respawn.

SNIPER AT YELLOW, 1x Reload, 3 minutes.

SIDE ROUTES ROUND AND UP TO THE TOP

DINOSAUR (raaaaargh) plays fast and there is little room to hide. Several long sightlines allow control of areas with the two power weapons. Oh, yeah, I design all of my maps with TU matchmaking settings in mind. I like sprinting, ordnance drops, radar and all the other broken things. So you should probably play them all with MM settings, if you can stomach it.

Thanks. This Map is in testing. If you get a game on it then tell me what you abhor/adore. Or don't. Whatever. ;)

This was insane with 8 players! Haha. Great fun, though.

Yeah it was a lot of fun, but it kind of melted my brain trying to keep up. It turned a quite tactical 2v2 map into something more like octagoning!

The constant sound of automatics was awesomely intense.

We got some 2v2 games in on this, TCOJ lobby 6/8/13. I think it plays rather well. the weapon spawns keep ppl moving around to try and gain some advantage for the thing they just picked up, and every now and then there is a fun rush for the damage boost/overshield that pops up bottom-mid. The testers said that movement around the map was fairly intuitive, but I think that it needs something a little more user-friendly than the railgun at red, as the majority of players do struggle to get a kill with it on here. Perhaps increasing the ammo by a clip would rectify that.

I loved the 2v2 we played on this last night. The map is really well balanced even though there is good hight variation. Placement of the Damage Boost/Overshield is done well, it is definitely the most dangerous position to be in, judging by the fact I got trampled on as soon as I picked up the DB. Coordination with a team mate is definitely needed to grab it. The Sniper is fun to use. There are some really interesting sightlines looking onto the top of the lift that are just enough to use the scope well, despite it being a small map.

Looking forward to the next test!

This is a really great map. You can't really see just how good the layout is from the current pics. Every area of this map just flows so nicely and looks really good too. You should definitely update the pics and show this one off a little more. I think anyone looking for a good small map needs to check this one out.
