The largest of the four maps I will be attempting to post in the next two days, Broken Wings. Originally the map had a banshee, and while it did play well, the inclusion of trees in the centre causes too much loss of framerate whilst flying the banshee. Weighing the two against each other, I felt the trees to be more necessary for the map. It is based off of an old map I made back in halo 3; the architecht (such wonderful spelling, I know) I will say it flat out, the original sucked, and I realize that.

Broken Wings is a mirror symmetrical map with a circular centre. There are ~3 elevation levels, and the top level cannot see the bottom, and vice-versa. These levels are organized like steps towards the center and as because of this design, combat will focus towards the 2nd level and close to the middle trench.

Currently supports: Slayer/Regicide/Flood, Oddball, CTF, KOTH, modded gametypes (gun game, sharpshooter)

    Weapon list:
    Ordnance-
    Fuel Rod Gun 180sec x1
    Gravity Hammer 180sec x1
    Overshield 180sec x1

    Placed-
    Battle Rifle 30sec 2 spare clips x4
    Shotgun 120 sec 0 spare clips x3

Man this looks awesome, something's beginning to tell me that you have something for birds :p
But seriously, I luv this... do you think of putting in a Railgun, would it be any good?
    Just a thought :]

In the version that had the Banshee, the weapon set was heavier and the Overshield was actually a Railgun, I changed it because I didn't like the engagements in the start that had the IC (later replaced with FRG) just stomping whoever went for the Railgun, I could have moved the Railgun, but I felt I needed to give incentive to use that back side of the map close to the cliff.

And, yeah, I definitely have a thing for birds. XD
