    Turbulence

    Gamertag: Chronmeister

    Supported Gametypes: Slayer, KOTH, CTF

    Optimal Player Count: 6-12

Ordnance: Gravity Hammer, Sniper Rifle, Scattershotx2

Turbulence is a asymmetric bridgework map inspired by maps such as Guardian and Blackout. Its flow is in the shape of an eight with blue and green only connecting to red and purple through the center yellow section. The map is close quarters enough in areas to make the scattershot quite effective. I chose to add the Gravity Hammer because I like the threat of being slammed off the map. There are also plenty of locations where a sniper can get some good long range views of the battle.

Love the map mostly and give it 4.7 stars, but I dont like the variety of colors used on the map, it would look nicer just using one color to stick with.

That's stupid. This is a competitive map. Certain areas should be color-coded for callouts. And even then, having just one color for everything is NOT gonna make the map look nicer.

Having one color can make a map look more uniform, therefore making it look cleaner/ nicer. In this case, making the map one color wouldn't be a good idea seeing as the map was made for multiple players. The only way you could make a map one color, is if the map is a 1v1, or has a significant differentiation in layout/ structure design, making call-outs easy as well as color-coding.

Overall, the map doesn't look bad. Some areas look sketchy in terms of clean forging, but lines of sight look solid, as well as structure throughout the map.

Seeing as I'm trying to get back into forging, I thought I might offer advice after I download the map and take a closer look. I will be back.

Maybe so, but this feels like an over-coloring of the map. It's actually more of a struggle for me when every piece is color coded. It's like a rainbow barfed on the map. So in that sense I see what the poster was thinking, and I would agree that in places too many pieces are colored.

Maybe if I just neutrally colored the floor pieces it would look better. I need colors for call outs, but I think the buildings being color coded would probably be enough.
