July 2013 Winners There was only one tie this time. The voting was down to the last few hours with several maps very close to one another, but one came out on top. I'd like to thank all those who participated. To the maps that were not chosen for this month, there will be the next month's nomination thread up soon, so you can always give it another go! Now then, without further adieu, I would like to announce the winners of this month's Forge Hub Favorites! 3rd Place Select | by Secretschnitzel Players | 2-8 Gametypes | Team Slayer, CTF Select, originally designed in Halo: Reach, has been modified and brought to the latest title. It boasts an impressive Narrows-inspired design, and fixes some of the issues with the Halo 3 map that inspired it. CTF is where Select shines, the multiple routes and the man cannons to the bridge making every run back to your base potentially terrifying. This month's third place map is a beauty, and if you've got a few friends on Halo, bring them to Select. You'll have a great competitive game. 2nd Place Stronghold | by The Fated Fire Players | 8-10 Gametypes | Team Slayer With Stronghold, The Fated Fire made a fine map with the old dual-snipers and middle-rockets weapon layout. The structures are arranged in a similarly olden two-base two-tower two-hut layout, reminding us all that these designs from Halo's past remain fantastic. Long lines of sight are quickly covered up by curving walls and traversal is made quick and easy with numerous jumps, tactical jumps, and hard routes between each location. Bring a party of eight or ten here and you'll have a blast killing each other. To The Stars | by Elliot Players | 10-14 Gametypes | Flood, Feed Me To The Stars is a skillfully made large Flood map. In the center of the map, a large building dominates. Around it is a circular warthog track, but there are also a few opportunities to veer off the designated driving area scattered around the track. Flood will swarm all around you, and no place is safe enough. With Elliot's Feed Me gametype, the flood are sure to have just as great a time chasing around the warthog as the humans will have driving around or defending a little corner somewhere. I wish you luck on To The Stars; you'll need it when the infected come calling. 1st PlaceCarbon | by DG Intensity Players | 2-8 Gametypes | Team Slayer, Slayer, CTF, Dominion, Extraction, Flood, KOTH, Oddball, Regicide If nothing else, our winner for this month is diverse. Carbon is playable with every stock gametype in Halo (though it has not been tested with all, see more on the original map listing) and can play a good game of 2v2 as well as the capacity for 4v4 matches. The map is designed to be balanced for each team, and when you play on it it's evident. No position is too high and now low is too exposed. DG Intensity did a fantastic job with this gorgeous map by designing it to work with so many variables. All of these factors combined have brought Carbon to the first place in July's Forge Hub Favorites. Congratulations to DG Intensity and all the others who made it in the top 3! And that does it for July. These days are going by so quickly! Once again, congratulations to our winners, they made some fine maps. If you have another map you would like to see in FHF, feel free to nominate it here.

Thank you to everyone who voted for To The Stars! Congrats to the other winners too, they all look like great maps (I haven't played any of them! ).
