Really is a new level of insecure, Daily-Mail esque lying and fearmongering level bull.

Here is the "old fashioned," "difficult" robbery which happens because "people don't know how to turn their alarms on" or because "turning an alarm on is too confusing," according to the creators:

Burglar comes in, trips off alarm. Loud noise, police possibly called. And this is one the stupidest things I have ever had the misfortune of reading.

Yet rejoice! Here is the "new," "modern," "good looking" way of "preventing" yourself getting robbed:

People come in, take obvious sensor sitting on a table in the middle of a room, put in new room after nicking. It works wirelessly so connection will be constantly dropped, house owner knows nothing.

And get this; there isn't even an audible alarm! You don't find out that you have been burgled until you either a) get back home or b) open an app on your phone (probably causing mass paranoia or thinking that it is nothing). You either get to a) CALL THE ****ING BURGLARS or b) PHONE YOUR NEIGHBOUR.

The fact that people would genuinely just accept that this sort of thing is secure boggles belief. It's simply a case of "WOW. VIDEO AND iPHONE. NOW I CAN BRAG TO MY FRIENDS ABOUT HOW COOL I AM AND iPHONE," so people buy it.

I'll just leave this gem of a quote here, summing up exactly what this product is about:

Hipsters. Hipsters everywhere! I am genuinely ticked off at how stupid people are. Buyers and developers.
