Well, I like to say I like the idea of a 100% natural map, just because it's original, BUT the map itself could use more. Consider tunnels or using the water to try something neat. A description might also be helpful. I can see the map is very small, so I have to ASSUME this is a 1v1 map. It looks like a decent map though, even though it seems like I'm bashing it.
Dugouts are cool. Natural terrain on Forge Island is cool. Design is flawed. I would suggest looking at your cover first. Where am I to spawn here that won't be in a direct line of sight of my enemy with a matter of 2 seconds? The arena design is fine, but it requires cover and pathways that can support one another. Look at the classic example of Guarian. Each area was individually recognizable and had many levels for height variation. There was cover, but still plent of lines of sight to encourage close and long range fights. Spawning was more often than not safe. I see some attempt of these traits here, but all could be improved. There is more I could say, but I have to wake up early tomorrow, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask and I can get back to you later. I like the idea, it just could use some TLC.
I went for a strict 100% natural thing so pieces went fast, thinking of making a timberland style map, I was just dipping my feet in the water with the more natural style and wanted to see what others thought... And yes the design could use help but as a I just said its kind of a beta map
omg RoCkSlAuGhT !!! @ anybody who doesn't understand the above reference, it means that the map looks like Onslaught but with rocks. Rock flooring tends to mess up nade bounces - for that reason, I would recommend that you switch out the rock floor for something else.
