I thought it would be an good idea to put this sort of thread up, feel free to show how quick or slow your internet connection is, as well as offering advice etc. I wasn't sure whenever or not to put this in the Gaming or General Discussion, so I placed it in here since we have to rely on the speed of your connection to play online games without all sorts of crazy glitches occurring. Anyone who doesn't though how to check can use SpeedTest.net to quickly test your network speed. Ok I guess I will start first. I decided to check my own network speeds as my connection has been down the toilet lately, then I get this: This is apparently quite good, so maybe at long last my connection isn't down the shits. Feel free to compare. Sorry for the lack of paragraphs, enter bar wont work here for some reason.
I think peeps should specify wired/wireless too as that affects speed quite a bit. This was wireless. My housemate got 107mbps wired. Not a joke Also, everywhere in where you guys are seems to have a shite ping, no wonder when playing halo I always get host.
