I am sure most of you have heard about the new Xbox One that is coming out -- Halo 5 will be released exclusively for it too. It is clear to say that I am getting the Xbox One pretty much just for Halo 5. How many of you are probably going to do the same? Besides that, why do you guys think Microsoft made a new 360? I don't see a point in it at all!!! Mostly for me because --why would I want to get the new 360 if it works very similarly to the previous 360? & it won't have halo 5 on it!! lol ...microsoft just doesn't make sense to me lately What are your opinions on Microsoft's latest announcements?
There are plenty of reasons why companies make new consoles. Obviously, they would be making a profit should their sales to manufacturing ratio be positive, and there is the need to rival other manufacturing companies as well. Above all else, however, improvements to past systems are necessary to accommodate the newest generation of video games. Otherwise, we would have old systems incapable of handling new games due to restrictions on graphics, lighting, frame rate, player capacity, etc. I cannot say I will be buying the Xbox solely for Halo just because I'm also super pumped for Kingdom Hearts 3, too. I haven't played the series since KH2, though D:
Xbox seems to have all the same games that the PS4 has shown at E3... Minus the new Infamous. So I will get an XB1. Also my mother also approves of the fact that you can use it as a Cable Box and DVR. So hey, I might not be to late to the party this time.
I'm probably getting the Xbox One for Halo and other exclusive games, as well as the fact that hating on it is way too mainstream.
I will be getting the Xbox One, but not just for Halo 5. However it is a big contributing factor. As a forger I am looking forward to Project Spark (you should be too!), The Divide looks awesome too. The PS4 doesn't cut it for me. I don't think it looks great and it doesn't have Halo.
I'm probably going to go PS4: I'm not going to buy an entire console over one game if it's just going to be a massive disappointment, plus most of my favorite franchises that aren't multi-platform are Sony exclusive, 90% of my friends aren't getting an XB1, etc... I'm hardly phased by things like their used game policy, always online, etc... but I don't care enough about TV or gimmicky motion sensors to find Xbox's major staple very intriguing, and I don't think it looks very good in terms of exclusive games either. The only thing that really impressed me was Titanfall, which I'm glad will be showing up on PC.
