Im thinking of starting up an Indiana Jones pack, based off events from the movie. I have ideas for 3 maps so far, listed below. If anyone else has made any or has an interest in doing so please share your ideas and we could potentially work together on this. Map 1: In the beginning of the movie, when Indy is running away from the Commies, he climbs over a lot of boxes. My idea for the map is one-sided VIP where the VIP is considerably slow, and has to jump over a lot of crates and other stuff to get to the destination. The attackers would probably have SMGs and Indy would have either a sword or hammer. This would most likely be done on Foundry. Map 2: When his kid and the chick are sword fighting on the trucks through the jungle, you could have another VIP gametype where theres 2 mongoose drivers (invulnerable) and two sword dudes that ride beside them with extra health (VIPs), around 1000%. It could be destination or just slayer, depending on how the map turns out. Ghosttown would probably be the best level for this. Map 3: Some type of oddball game, where its a fight to get to the skull. Youd need 1 point to win, so getting to the skull first would win you the round. There would be two spawns considerably far away from eachother with an angled one-way hallway that converges in the middle where the first clash would be From there there would be a path, maybe a maze, leading up to the skull that would be placed at a large stairway/throne. It would play some-what like a Conquest map where there would be constant fighting. The only spawns would be in the beginning, so if you die you start over. Any suggestions on any maps or ideas would be great.
I've got to say, I really like where this is going. I think you have got the best ideas there. Maybe the part with the little bugs, make a health leech, but have a teritory (the skull) or oddball holder that regenerates you, kind of like the 'pirate' maps. Anyway, I'm allways willing to help. And you might want to have a gametype for the motorcycle chase through the campus. There is a VIP and a driver in a mongoose, or mabye even a warthog? Make it so the VIP is the passenger mabye. And have different checkpoints. During the way there could be different vehicles in case your current vehicle gets destroyed. There will also be increased sheilds for the vip/driver as they have a long chase throughout the streets. EDIT: For the above post. This map would be good for sandtrap or Isolation.
