    Double Helix is a Mid-Sized Symmetrical 4v4 Map that is centered around two spiraling (Helix) staircases. The ‘Purple’ Tower has 3 Levels with Catwalks that cross the center and around the tree that is located at the center of the map. There are lifts at the entrance to the center from both Yellow and Green (Neutral) Bases that lead to the top level of the tower. Red and Blue bases each have 3 main floor entrances and a lift that provides access to the top level. The map also has cave hallways that surround the map and connect each of the bases that allow for some safe traffic around the map without going through the treacherous center area.

    Currently Testing Gametypes: CTF, Oddball, KOTH, All Slayer Types

    Not one comment? This is a great map, I always love playing it at TCOJ. I like how dangerous the centre is, there are so many ways to shoot in it from. A lot of maps have so much gameplay in the centre, but because it is so risky here, the whole map gets played quite a lot.

    One thing that annoyed me were the man cannons that you have to jump up to be taken to the top level. I found that I was jumping into them by accident quite a lot.

    Nice map! the mid was really a dangerous place! liked it a lot :)

    Thanks for the comments guys, I have made a few small changes to the middle. I have 'segmented' the Large open area into two halfs allowing you to get in and out of there without getting shot from EVERY angle at once. Not sure if I updated my fileshare yet, but I will tonite, if I can get another test or two on this one I'll release it soon...
