I am looking for a way to make the falling of an object cause the round to end. At some time crates will fall from the sky and I am trying to get that to signal the end of the round. I initially thought something like an assault match with the arm place being below the boxes but every idea required a player to pick up a bomb or flag or something.
Does anyone know of a way to end a match or round like this or at least have this falling open up a way to end the match?

Sorry, as far as I know, you cant make this end a round. You could, however make the crates open up the area with a bomb/flag/oddball so that the round could be ended.
There is anoter way but it is not recommended as it can be annoying. Make the game VIP and have it so that the VIP can't move. Then, when the crates fall, he will be crushed in an ugly but satisfying way.
    Hope this helps, good luck!

Don't think you could fill an entire map with falling crates so VIP wouldn't work since you can't predict which spawn point the VIP will be at.

It would have to be infection and you'd have to lock the zombie in a room with the round ending on his/her death.

You could set a time limit to a little bit after the crates drop down that way you still get the satisfaction of the crates falling and the round will end soon and a new one will begin. Though maybe you've already thought of that and it won't work with what you're doing.

Well you could make whole teams spawn together, and just make that area covered. To stop the VIP escaping, give him high gravity and make it so you need to jump out. Anyway VIP is a bad idea as it would annoy the VIP.

Thanks for the input. I am thinking of some sort of path being opened once the crates fall, maybe a grav lift path as the crates are floating, but its proving somewhat difficult. They're in a difficult place and I want emphasis on the knocking the crates down as opposed to hitting an objective after they're down, but an idea like that may work best anyway.
