    lol, I didn't know this is your map? I remember playing it lately, but I thought somebody else was leader, thus it was his map. Anyway, I should've known better because clearly it's your style of forging. I like the Forerunner theme, not many people dare to put a try on such a setting given the UNSC looking objects we get, but I think you did a good job creating such a believable atmosphere. The structure from the first picture looks beautiful, for instance.
    As far as gameplay goes, I cannot really give too much feedback as I was AFK for half of the game (sorry!), but when I did play, the building in the middle felt a bit overpowered when you can get a couple of buddies up there. I remember your team had to push really hard to knock us back, especially due to the fact that we were holding the Rocket Launcher and had the height advantage over people trying to climb the structure itself, or the rocky construction on the right (from our team's point of view). Once again, I haven't even played one full game on the map so don't take this feedback too seriously, but it seemed a bit out of balance to me from what I can tell.

    Looks secks paints, can't wait to get a good game on this. I haven't played it but if what REM said is true, maybe you could try restricting the lines of sight in the building. Not only would that balance the structure but if you do it by means of adding structure on the ground then that gives players who have the height DISADVANTAGE the advantage on cover, this balancing out that part. Then again I have not played so do not take that feedback too seriously. If you need testers throw me an invite.

    Very Halo:CE. I'd be interested to see how this plays.

    Also, this looks much worse in pictures than it does on the map. In game it looks pretty darn nice.

    Invite me for a test sometime if we both happen to be on. I'll try to join up at least once!

    Deffs Halo CE like with the absence of any noticeable aesthetics. It could play well but that plain platform with the man cannon looks like a death trap the one with the 3 4x4 talls in series. Also that ramp on the left of the first picture looks far too open and I don't see infantry making use of that very often

    Can't tell much by just looking at these pictures, but I just want t say... That forerunner structure, first picture, looks brilliant. That is the best looking forerunner structure I have seen so far. You used those new textured ramps well, and mixed it with those artifact bases. It looks pretty great.

    Looking forward to this one PA1NTS, I actually always do that when I see previews of you :p

    Did you build this on the largest island Paints? I think its very beautiful and reminds me a lot of Relic, with a nice mix of Natural Geo everywhere :) very well done.

    This looks like a Forerunner structure, as opposed to a Precursor structure. Has any Precursor architecture been in any Halo game? Curious...

    Looks fancy Paints.

    This looks cool, but it appears to suffer from the same issue that essentially every BTB map on Forge Island I've yet seen suffers from. You've got large expanses of naked terrain with structures just sitting on top of it (I'm seeing this in screenshots 3 and 4). You really need to incorporate more height variation to these areas, using rocks, or incorporating your structures into the terrain (rather than having them just sitting on it). Otherwise, gameplay will be very two dimensional in these areas. Even if you break up sightlines well with the structures, gameplay will not be dynaic or natural unless there is actually some height variation involved. This would be much easier to do if there were some rolling hills on the islands, but if we want to make quality BTB maps on this canvas, this is something we're going to need to work around. Luckily we get plenty of big rocks which can help us do this.

    Love what you did with the middle of the map. I am glad I was able to help you out with the hill, you really made it work great from what I can see. Would love to play test this with you.

    Sick Pa1nting.... I'd have to agree with psychoduck though about needing some height variation or hills. Other than that this looks really cool and I'd love to help gametest. The structure that looks forerunner is really sick.

    Well, the issue isn't that the map itself needs more verticality. It actually does quit a nice job with that, it's just that the grassy areas need more minor height variation.

    Overall though, this map suffers in that regard much less than most forge Island BTB maps I've seen so far, and is otherwise quite nicely put together. I'll have to play it a few more times before I can say more.

    The first thing I thought when I saw Forge Island was that it was too flat. They should have put some "natural hill" forge pieces with a few different sizes. That would have been really nice.

    Well, of course. But all the kids who were whining non-stop about how "bad" the other canvases were just kept saying they wanted completely flat terrain, and that's what they got. That's why it's good to actually be thoughtful when analyzing something rather than mindlessly whining about it. Anyways, it's something we've got to work around now. Sadly, it's not something which most forgers seem to be taking into account when creating BTB maps currently.

    hahaha... yeah that's a good point. unfortunately, I did complain about the terrain on all 3 forge maps... but when i said flat I didn't mean 100% flat, I meant something like hemorrhage in Reach. I assumed that would be obvious but I guess it wasn't. I think someone at 343 should have said, hey...put a few hill variations on that big island. Nothing like Ravine but just make it look natural. Ravine isn't bad, but it's too small, particularly in the center of the map.

    From the pictures the actual play area doesn't seem impressive at all, however your structures are very clean and heavily forerunner inspired and very cool to look at.
