This map is designed for large scale capture the flag and slayer gametypes. The fighting skids along a bridge connecting the two opposing teams, and is supplemented by banshee support. Scorpions and other powerful weaponry prevent the aircraft from having a pivotal, albeit deadly role. The smallest island of Forge Island is connect via a one way teleport from the midpoint of the two bases. This outcropping begins the bridge which intwines all three islands, and offers a second route of attack for those weary of head-on assault. Enjoy!

It looks like this map has no cover at all. Can you even reach the top of the singular structure without a banshee? It looks like you didn't spend alot of time thinking of how this map would play. I imagine once someone gets in a banshee, they completely dominate. Also, why bother connecting the islands with a bridge if you weren't actually going to build anything on them?

You are correct; there is very limited cover. This is because the map is meant to be dominated by vehicles supported by powerfully weaponized infantry. Those who attempt to cross a large area on foot will most likely be killed instantly by long-ranged fire, but there are key choke-points with sufficient cover(the borders of each base, the intersection of the bridges, the buildings within the bases). I'm going to guess "singular structure" = "flag keep" (picture 6). This building does have an interior that allows players on foot to reach its top. The entrances of this building are not clearly visible from the provided screenshots, unfortunately. The vehicle placement and ordinances are very capable of preventing banshee domination. Additionally, both teams are provided easy access to banshees to even out potential OP. Finally, the bridges are simply a means of access for land vehicles/ infantry. There are one or two spots with a bit of cover and weapons, but once again the bridges are designed for vehicles. The teleport (vehicles enabled) to the small island is located at the elbow of the thinner bridge to provide a secondary strike vector (along the bridge) for either team.

Thank you for the feedback, I hope to edit in some of your suggestions.

Do you have any idea how far apart these islands are? It takes quite a while for even a banshee to reach the tiny island. Also, if the medium sized island is the other team's base, then the tiny island will serve no purpose, for no one is going to bother to go there. Besides, with a ramp that steep I don't think anyone is going to try.

The teleport located at the elbow of the thinner bridge provides quick access to the small island, which acts as a second getaway route if the flag carrier is under long-ranged fire. It does take several seconds for a banshee to reach the small island, but this only supports the island's purpose. The ramp is quite steep, but easily drivable for a warthog or mongoose.

You can argue for your map all you want, but the fact remains. It just doesn't work. Spend some time creating a map without so much wasted space.

I don't like the name "Forged Goat Hides" one bit, but that is just my opinion on your map name. I have to agree with the others, you just can't make a map connecting all 3 islands and I know why you did it. You must have heard 343i say it's possible to do this if you are good with your budget, at their PAX presentation on Forge Island. I thought that was pretty dumb of them to say. Sure you can do something like this for some casual mini game (if that would even work), but not a competitive BTB map. The islands are just way too far apart.

Okay, I understand this map design is not very successful. Though, thank you for the advice everyone. Considering this is my first, post, I've learned a lot.
