Be careful about framerate though (unless your creation is meant to be aesthetic only) because raising 1,2 or 3 large wind turbines into the air, possibly all viewable at once, could be an issue.

Using the "Column" piece would allow for smooth curves without going too over the top, I'm sure you could make the ones from Reach with them!
No, for the ones from Reach I would rather advice to use the Dominion Wire pieces. The Columns are way too massive, he'd have to make one huge turbine that way. But it would indeed be the best object to use if the Wires wouldn't work out.
