This is an aesthetical remake of Jabba's sail barge from Star Wars episode VI, there are also three desert skiffs and the pit of carkoon (which has a teleport that takes you to a soft kill zone "stomach" of the sarlacc) on the map as well. The map is mainly aesthetic, although there are kill barriers and spawn points to make the map playable in a free-for-all slayer but nothing more. I decided to make this map as it was something that i had attempted on halo reach as well and i wanted to see if i could do a better job on halo 4, i'll let you decide for yourself if it is a decent recreation. Here are a few screenshots of various parts of the map, let me know if you would like me to upload any more. ...and yes, that is Jabba in the background.
Lando Calrisian: "a little bit higher.... just a little bit higher" Han Solo: "my vision must be improving, because instead of a big dark blur i'm seeing a big white blur". Luke: "There's not much to see. I used to live here you know." Han: "You're gonna die here, you know?" lol... couldn't help it. This is very impressive and I think you nailed it spot on! "An aesthetic genius, you are." - Yoda
Haha, great job! Clean forging, and a very original theme as well. It's also cool that you put a soft kill zone in the stomach of the Sarlacc, although I'd prefer a stay of 10 second over a stay of 1000 years so if I had to choose, I'd jump into this one's mouth.
I never understood how a body could be digested over a thousand years as depicted in RotJ. If a person cannot possibly live for a thousand years in the first place, and digestion and decomposition are processes by which bacteria and chemicals break down organic matter, how could you both digest AND preserve a body for that long?
