Hi, I'm Xx Zoidberg20 and I'd like to show off my first map on Forge Hub and see how people enjoy its looks and maybe check out some of my other maps. Anyways this is called Cliffhanger and it is based in Ravine's ravine near the water which creates some cool effects that people will see in these pictures. The ghost in the fog is probably my favorite picture and makes a really cool atmosphere. The map has three levels, the bottom level, the middle via teleporter, and the top via trait zone. Anyways I hope my first forgehub map isnt too terrible this was my first Halo 4 map.
Screenshots are all broken. Download them from your fileshare and then re-upload them to some place like imgur or photobucket, then post the images from there.
nice forge spot... I was messing around in there the other day with the "steam" coming up from the water.
Yea that was the first thing I found in forge and decided to do something with it since water is out of the question unlike in forge world. Alot of people like the ghost in the mist with the barriers since it looks like a ancient city with the steam/fog rising up. In the future I was gonna make a flood map with the steam and see how it reacts with special fx's. I'm curious as to what your thinking about with the steam?
my first map in Halo 4 was going to be in this location, and I have something mostly built, but stuck. it was supposed to be the first one released that used the fog, and use a particular name "precipice" but now both things have sadly already been done. I may or may not finish it. FYI, you'll get better lighting on the other side of the ravine, beyond that narrow bit.
Well then rename it and I'm sure Im not the first to use the steam on here. Ok thanks for the tip I might use it on my next map that is gonna use the same steam but only on one half and it's gonna be a flood map thats a cargo ship docking area which I might add some fx's too.
oh yea... but the design of mine is kind of stuck like I said, and I've got other projects that are moving along a lot better. It's still a neat little map so I'll probably finish it someday
