Well here's my newest map, Condemned. No not the map from Reach. "After the glassing of New Mombasa due to the flood; some people thought that it was safer to live underground..... They were wrong." Welcome to Condemned. It is a multi-leveled map good for anything from 2v2's to 4v4's to even ffa with from what I've been told has great aesthetics and a "Bungie" feel to it. Well enough of my yapping here's the pics tell me what ya' think. *Note: This map is also set up for flood. Enjoy! Thanks for looking and thanks to all the testers.
Wow Looks really good. It looks like it should be a flood map, but i suppose that's the erosion palette.
yeah whoever told you you have great aesthetics was right. im loving the structures and i also agree with the "Bungie feel". There is a variety of cover, which i like. but i have one question: where do the two teams spawn? i assumed they would spawn in the structures set up across from each other, but one side has a warthog and a larger structure, and the other has a mongoose and a smaller structure. was that intended to be unfair? (and I wouldn't mind seeing more pictures of the indoors and the top center: where the man cannon is)
Aside from the steep ramps, this looks nice. The one test I had on here went pretty well, and the lack of cover issue seems to have been fixed, although I'd like to see more on the bridge to the pavilion. I'd like to get another game on here to see how it changed.
Both teams spawn on neutral ground where they both have a chance to get the warthog or any of the power weapons as well as any cover. But I can see where you where coming from. The pics can give you that idea.
I enjoyed playing Flood on this last night. Although the game type was shitty, it had some really interesting holdout points. You're aesthetics are really clean, which is difficult on Erosion. The map fits with the pallete really well. I would love to play it again but with a competitive game type.
I enjoyed both games we played on this map last night. I preferred Regicide over flood, but that's always the case regardless of the map. I'm with Audience on the 45 degree ramps. They always annoy me during games. The map promotes fast paced gameplay. It isn't as dangerous to be out in the open area as it seems from the pics.
