new gun suggestions for halo 5

    Boot Kick Melee
    Different than the standard melee. It would "kick" the player away from you a certain short distance allowing the player to get off a few more shots before the enemy could close in again for a melee. It would do little to no damage and would not stop the damage caused by a melee from the enemy that happened at the same time. This would give players, that hate the double melee battles that happen all the time, more options.

    Human Knife/Sword
    (as seen in development of Halo: CE)
    Not a weapon pickup but should be in the grenade slot in loadouts. It should have the range of a standard melee but be more devastating (80-90% damage).

    Human Hand Cannon Pistol
    4 shots per mag. Fires very slowly and should only take 2 headshots to kill or 4 body shots. Should fire a the rate of one round per every 2.5 seconds.

    Rocket Propelled Frag Grenade
    The same as a frag but when you throw the grenade it has a short propelled burst that doubles the speed and distance of the throw. Would look more like a mortar round in shape. Takes twice as long to throw it, as the spartan would have to take more time to prime it, and would explode on impact after a certain amount of distance. If it impacted before that distance, it would just be a dud.

    Mac Cannon/Air Strike/Carpet Bombing (BTB only)
    Could be implemented with a laser that would have to be painted for 5-10 seconds leaving that player immobile and vulnerable or could be incorporated with a flare/smoke grenade that would give a 5-10 second warning. The strike would damage/kill teammates if caught in the blast.

    MA5K Carbine: A 46 round shorter range Assualt Rifle with a lower damage output per shot, but has a higher rate of fire and has very little recoil, increasing its accuracy.

    M99 Stanchion Gauss Rifle: A 10 round sniper rifle that can be charged up to increase its firepower, without charge, it's a slightly more powerful DMR. Fully charged it can kill in 1 shot and kill another player still. However, it is heavily inaccurate from the hip and has a slow rate of fire, especially when charged.

    BR145 Heavy Battle Rifle: A four round burst battle rifle with 44 rounds. Highly effective against shields and dishes out more damage then the normal BR, however, it has a slower rate of fire and is less accurate from the hip, suffering bloom.

    M198 Heavy Desingnated Marksman Rifle: A six round DMR that fired slowly, but packs more of a punch and is more accurate. Has a larger scope but more recoil.

    SR-78 Bolt-Action Rifle: A high power 3 round sniper rifle that is more accurate and devastating against infantry than a normal sniper, but is slower firing and doesn't affect vehicles as well.

    Plasma Caster: Covenent Plasma Minigun with huge recoil and gradually increasing rate of fire. heavily inaccurate and runs out of charge at an increasing rate.
