Battle Tracks Battle Tracks is back in Halo 4. The following tutorial is to help you set up your track to work with Battle Tracks game variants. The current games are Battle Lasers & Battle Snipes. The goal point should be at least two hills side by side, or if you have room three hills side by side, separated by dividers. The goal point must be either two lanes or three lanes across. The reason for this is so multiple teams can get points at the same time without contesting occurring. If anyone would like to convert some tracks or have any new tracks, I would be glad to add them to the map data base. Thanks and if anyone is interested in racing or playing any type of customs we are going to be hosting some games soon. Games Battle Lasers, Battle Snipes, Race Maps .
Turb, BattleTracks has been one of the biggest gametypes in the racing community since Dream invented it in early 2008; you try to kill your opponents so they have to restart the lap, making it challenging to score. These two gametypes, your new one and the old and famous BattleTracks, are much different. Of course you want to kill them, BattleTracks has always been about a struggle to stay alive, it's not "madness". I don't understand how you could have nothing nice to say to Dream. Besides RACETRACKS itself, BattleTracks is the best custom racing gametype in Halo, and has been since early 2008, and there's no need to diss it because you've been oblivious to it. If his extremely long and thorough explanation isn't doing a good job explaining it, then I don't know what is in your opinion. There's no need to hate on BattleTracks, a 5 year old gametype, because you found out your brand new one is somewhat similar to it. Don't you want your gametypes to be different? You seemed mad that his ideas were different, when you guys are making two totally different gametypes; his involves killing your enemies, yours involves flipping and messing them up. They are different, and thus should be different, so don't start a silly argument because Dream defended your insults to his gametype. Yours is flawed too, the hill gets contested, so don't diss his for not being perfect in your eyes, when yours is flawed itself. Goodness. Drama in the Halo community is so necessary, huh? Anyways, great job with this, Dream, thanks for bringing back BattleTracks!
I named it RACETRACKS - DOUBLES in order to minimize confusion. Having RACETRACKS in the name tells them right away that it is a racing game type. When people see DOUBLES in the name that makes it clear that they need to be in teams of 2. If you are in a lobby with people that do not have mics or are in party chat then it doesn't take as long for them to pair up.
