I've been meaning to post this for a while now but we finally just got around to throwing together a video for it. Within about 8 seconds of seeing the mini spartan game type I decided I wanted to make an extremely accurate and detailed version of the Pit for the little guys. It's hilarious to play on and all the original jumps, weapons and features are there. The downside is that the game type forces all players to be white regardless of whether or not teams are enabled. This map is set up for FFA slayer for up to 8 people. Feel free to change the loadouts and settings for the game type as they won't effect the size of the spartans. (Making everyone spawn with shields as your AA is really funny.) I'll update the spawns and game types if anyone is aware of objective variants with little spartans. The map and the game type can be found on my FS: GoD 0f FoRgE (the "0" in "0f" is a zero.) Enjoy! ʕ·͡ᴥà«Ê” Adorable Halo 4 Remake - Pit Jr. - Forged By: God 0f Forge - YouTube
awesome, gotta love the mini maps. Although, good news for you... there is a better mini spartan gametype that doesn't force any colors. I don't think I can name the author here? send a PM
Played a game on this earlier tonight. . . It was the silliest, cutest, most awesome game I've ever played on Pit. You've inspired me. I think I'm going to try to do Narrows like this. Ghost, maybe you could PM me some info on that gametype too?
PM coming your way. I need that game type. Frags, Narrows would be awesome. It's a little tricky because the appearance and hit box changes but as far as the game's physics are concerned you're still 7 feet tall. The little guys won't fit into a space that a regular spartan can't.
This actually looks like an incredible hilarious time haha. Job well done! FFA Fiesta KOTH would be awesome on this, if it were possible. But still, looks awesome, that sucks that the game still treats the players as 6ft. tall though, you could have gone really mini haha
I'm about 85% done with construction. Just got the mancannons working. The modified jump height helps, but there are still a couple parts where you get hung up. I don't think Slayer JR is meant for competitive play, but as a novelty, I think this will work well.
nice... but I wonder, has anyone else seen the irony of making smaller players AND a smaller map? when you're done, isn't it just the same scale as before? lol... I'm mainly just kidding as I'm sure this is just fun and nothing else really matters at that point!
