Well Forgehub what did you think of Crysis 3? I honestly have had a lot of fun on it, I haven't finished it yet but the graphics and the general gameplay for me was insane. I own this on computer I only can run it on medium Graphics and they are still insanely good. I haven't been able to get onto multiplayer yet due to not having fast internet at the moment but next month ill be checking it out. so what are your thoughts on the game?
Graphics on 360 are okay. I mean, most things look great, but certain stuff, like the little explosive gas cans, pop-in REALLY late. Also, the second mission, where you are in the park avoiding the tower turret, caused ridiculous frame rate problems for me. The game is pretty fun though. I usually go for a stealthy approach, but throwing up max armor and mowing down people with the Typhoon is always fun, too. The story is alright. The characters seem a little stretched to me, and some of the intel spoils stuff. Overall the game is decent. I'll finish the campaign and maybe play a little multiplayer to see if there are any fun game modes, but I doubt I'll try to beat it on Super Soldier or get all the achievements.
yeah I bet the 360 version has frame rate issues. but Crysis has always bumped the graphics up on each game they have made. the first game the graphics made all other games that year look like ****. Now they have done it again hahah. I've had plenty of fun on the game and I can't wait till I get my fast internet back, ill be keen on playing with a few mates.
I have it on Mac/Win7 at medium, it looks gorgeous, at high, it looks unreal, I haven't tried ultra yet. MP is hard to get used to though, not having shields really throws me off.
Yeah im keen as for next month when I get my fast internet speeds back, ill be playing mp and far cry 3 mp. crisis 2 online was alright so hopefully not to much has changed
Don't look forward to it too much. Crysis 3's multiplayer isn't anything to write home about, and Far Cry 3 is mediocre. Crysis 3's campaign is pretty good. It's not nearly as good as the first, but it's an improvement over the second. As for graphics, is it me, or are they toning them down quite a bit?
well they must be better then the others I can run all the others maxed out graphics. and this I can only run on medium.
my only gripe with the Crysis campaign, was that no matter the difficulty, all of the AI had laser vision and that goddamn helicopter.
