With research into cryogenics suspended, this facility has ironically fallen into a deep sleep. 2-8 Players.

So this is my first map for H4 that I'm putting out there for others to hopefully enjoy. Somnus is a small asymmetrical map that was mainly designed for 1v1 or 2v2, but it supports 4v4. When H4 came out and I saw the horrible state of forge, I didn't think I'd want to put any maps out. But after seeing several decent maps on Forgehub, I was inspired to push through. Even though this is a small map, its best not played on split screen as is with most forged maps I've found. This is a fun ShWATguns map if you're into that gametype. Most of my maps I forge are geared towards fast-action for a small amount of players.

I just realized that I forgot to put the Concussion Rifle on the overview in the random drop. Not that important, but I thought I'd mention it.

Really like this map, especially the central open area. I like the different levels and area underneath the reactors. The shield wall lifts are a nice touch, but the one at blue base doesnt quite work i found.

Love this. My only suggestion is to hide the teleporter nodes so that the green shield is the only thing visible. I've got a tutorial here.

Wow, this looks really nice dude. I'm going to have to give this a download and try to get a game on it to see how it plays, but the layout doesn't look too shabby at all. Your piece-usage looks pretty original as well, something that's getting harder and harder to do with Halo 4's forge pallette :p

Very nice work, I'll give you some more thoughts after I get the chance to play it.

That's some amazing looking architecture you've got there. You were able to get the structure to look pretty realistic. The layout looks pretty solid for balanced gameplay. I'll check it out. I'm getting the feeling it'll impress me even more than the pictures.

I appreciate the feedback everyone. I was getting concerned no one noticed the map after five days and no comments. So thanks for the compliments and suggestions.

I fixed some things last night and re-loaded it into my fileshare. First I fixed the shield door lift in blue base as mentioned by Smilezor. Second I changed the teleports per Teancum's suggestion. Thanks for that, they look a lot better now. I also added grenades into the random drops. I realize I had not put any on the map.

I've visite your map. Its clean, pretty nice, but teleporters break the gameplay. You have to delet this !

I really like this, the layout seems solid and as stated before your piece usage is quite unique. Good job! My opinion on teleporters: they can be good or bad, if you implement them well (which it seems like you have) then they really do make for better gameplay.
