    Hey guys

I'm here with a 2v2 map that I'm currently working on for the dust-up tournament. I call it courtyard. Courtyard is an asymmetrical urban map built for 2v2s. Anyways on to the important stuff.

    Min. Players: 2
    Max. Players: 4
Supported Gametypes: 2v2, FFA, Oddball, KotH, Flood (up to 12 players)
    Canvas Map: Ravine
Gamertag to Search on Xbox LIVE: CaftiestBeef

    Weapons on map:
    • 2 Suppressors - 60s
    • Carbine - 75s
    • DMR - 75s
    • Sniper - 150s - 1 spare clip
    • Rail gun - 120s - 2 spare clips
    • Concussion rifle - 120s - 0 spare clips
    • 2 Frag grenades - 30s
    • 4 Pulse grenades - 30s

    On to the photos!

    An overview of the courtyard:

Back alley behind the general store, also blue spawn:

As always guys, any feedback is appreciated. :)

    *Edit*

So I updated the map with some of your feedback and yes the tree is gone. I filled up the courtyard a little bit more too. Here are the new pictures.

    General overview of changes:

The piece I put in instead of the tree:

    A small vendor stand:

And I added an arch to the fountain which gives some cool jumps between buildings:

Anyways guys thanks for the comments and let me know what you think of the changes.

I really do not like that tree, otherwise I like what I see from the pictures. I'd be happy to help test if you need testers.

from first glance, it looks like the courtyard could use a wee bit more cover, though not much would be necessary.

Yeah I really hate the look of that tree. Its very unrealistic and just kills the map's aesthetic value. Other than that not too bad, how is it gameplay-wise?

Wait. . .that was a tree? Oh well other than the "tree" i really like the looks of this map though a couple spots such as the actual courtyard lack a bit of cover. Other than that it looks solid.

With some precise placement, I think you could make a decent looking tree out of the rocks that have some grass on them. 'Tis a stretch, but it beats the tin cups, hahaha. It looks pretty cool, mang. Add me on XBL if you'd like, and we can try to run some games tonight if you're down.

    Also, cough cough

I won't be able to test tonight. I did get some games on it earlier though, and the courtyard is a little open. Katanga and Auburn i'll add you guys and hopefully we can get some test games on it after I make some switches. The thing I liked the most throughout the test were that there wasn't any one major spot of combat, we fought all over the map and it made it hard to guess where the other team would be next.
