Halo Waypoint Download Opal Opal: Infinity Opal has been with me for a while, and is the second map that I have built and actually enjoy on Halo 4. I must say, it's rather odd in writing these words down, for once it is all said and the pictures are up, I'll be done with this project that I've had for over a month. Opal is a small 1v1/2v2 map that supports Oddball, Infinity Slayer and Slayer. I have set up two versions of the game, one with ordinance and one without. The ordinance version (Opal:Infinity) is designed more for casual play, with random drops making every game different. The version without these ordinance drops (Opal) is designed more for competitive play. Below are two weapon maps that show the layout and differences between the two versions. Opal Spoiler Weapon Details: Railgun. 2 clips. 170s DMRx2. 2clips. 45s Frag Grenadex4. 60s. Opal: Infinity Spoiler Weapon Details: Initial Drops: Railgun. 215s 2 Set Frag Grenadesx2. 120s. Random Drops: 2 Set Plasma Grenade 2 Set Frag Grenade 2 Set Pulse Grenade Needler Concussion Rifle I'd like to thank all of those who helped me. There were many who tested, and you all are why this map ended up the way it is. I would also like to give a special thanks to Sargent Sarcasm for the still images, and Knight of 0rder for the video. Thank you all so much for all you have done to support me and Opal over its development period. Thank you all, once again. Opal and Opal: Infinity are both up for download in my fileshare. To find it currently, search the gamertag xAudienceofone. Any comment or question would be appreciated. If you enjoy Opal, you may enjoy my 2v2 map Jade as well. Gameplay Video: Map Feature: Opal (Gameplay) - YouTube Thanks to Knight of 0rder for the awesome gameplay video. Halo 4 Forge Maps - Opal - YouTube Mr. Pokephile was kind enough to give Opal a feature on his youtube (channel) as well. He's got some great railgun gameplay and a nice skimming view of the map. Thanks to Mr. Pokephile for the great video and the kind words. Images:
Behind you! Despite our inevitable slaughter when we played given and red, this map was fun and the flow was very good. There was never one area I felt that I needed to be, I was constantly moving, not just out of fear of being assassinated.
I've been watching this map evolve before my eyes from the very first preview. I was amazed then by how the map looked and played. I look at the finished product now after all of the tests and hard work put into the map, and see something truly astounding. The map flows nicely and the aesthetics are magnificent (even with erosion pallet). This is one of my favorite maps of all time. Jade is also one of my favorites
Thank you for the kind words, everyone. I honestly never expected so much. Thank you for your time in tests and to those who gave out opinions/suggestions. I've added another video by the great Mr. Pokephile, who I just noticed featured the map on his channel. You should watch it and then go see some of his other videos, they're all pretty much just great.
