    Aurora

    "Nickname Aurora for it's rare glowing minerals.... This station used to be the UNSC's top mining location."

    This is my map Aurora. it is a small 2 vs 2 up to 4 vs 4 map with a multi-scape. It has a set of "jump pads" in multiple places (see below) .

    Red spawn:

    I love the use of the tin cups, but rocks don't always look good for a floor because of the weird collision box causing players to look as if they were walking in the air above the rocks, did you take that into consideration and pick the flatter sides of the rocks?

    Just to let you know that upside down tin cups have an invisible barrier attached to them that you can not shoot or throw grenades through from a specific angle.

    Apart from that the map looks good.

    Yeah that's what I tried to do.... I wanted to make it feel like you were walking into the asteroid itself down there.

    Red spawn looks good. From there, the piece usage falls apart.

    You need to differentiate walls and floors with color; one should be dark and one light. Otherwise, depth perception is hurt. You also run into one of the biggest problems with Reach maps - Too much of one color everywhere (think wall collies spammed for ceilings, walls, and floors).

    My suggestion? More light, higher ceilings, and more darks to contrast with the lights. It will do wonders for players navigating Aurora for the first time.

    Thanks. I thought that myself. But one of the problems with impact is that all of the map and its pieces are either dark(map itself) or almost all light(the forge pieces). The height issue. I'll work on.... But as I was saying about the colors if you'll look I've updated the map to give it more of a station feel that I think everybody will like. I should help a lot . Thanks for the feedback.
