Vanguard (My first map)

    Hey guys, i'm new to forgehub and thought the best way to say hi was to post my first map.

    It's mainly a slayer map (2v2, 4v4) but is also fun with Oddball and Koth. I'm new to this so i'm not too sure about the spawn/weapon placement and would really appreciate feedback, even negative feedback is gd.

    Wow, for a first map, i would say you did a pretty nice job! Lots of height variations and a couple of LOS points that could easily be broken up with crates of something, Nice job!

    Shadowcat's right, this is an incredible first map. You should have seen mine! Just a disaster.

    You have got a good thing going, but I can already see a few issues. Visually, some pieces look awkward (such as the corner wall in img2) and the ramps seem to occasionally have high angles. generally its good to have lower angles of 30 at a maximum. The higher angled ramps make fighting less enjoyable from a gameplay perspective. This looks to be a great start, but it still needs work. The number one thing you should do it join in some lobbies and test this, and test it a lot. Take all ideas and feedback into consideration. I can imagine this being one beautiful map once you edit it and test.

    Thanks for the comments guys. The angle of the ramps are all less than 30, and I'm not sure about what corner your talking about, the small railing sticking out the ramp was just put in to make the jump easier for less skilled jumpers.

    If anyone has played this map and has any feedback please let me know, I'm trying to improve the map more and more.
