Some of you might have noticed my site from an earlier post here, when I only told you about the web-based screenshot extractor I made, or from other forums, but I just realized I never told you guys about the main purpose of the site. With Armor Watcher, you can view anybody's Spartan-IV as long as you know their gamertag. You can select different sizes, small, medium or large and whether you want them to pose or not, and when you get what you want, sharing on FaceBook is just a mouseclick away. Not only can you view Halo 4 armor, but by selecting the armor you want, you can view Halo 3 armor, too! ODST's from Halo 3: ODST are also available, but that part is still a bit of a W.I.P. I was planning to add a Reach Spartan viewer, but that's been delayed for an unknown period of time as 343i got rid of Reach's API. Go to Armor Watcher Note: I am a php nub, and this is only my first website I've made (and put online).
Search area is hard to find. Make it more visible. Like somewhere in the middle. OR Get user to type a GT into a search box and then give them a selection of games to view characters from, not the other way around. Stops users having to type the same names multiple times. EDIT, it didn't find me on H4 with default pose.
Very cool. I hate the way the leg armor looks in H4... I agree with Sky. It took me a second to figure out where to go to input my GT. Make it bigger or brighter or something.
Well, you put it a lot clearer than he did. I'll see what I can do. I thought making the gamertag box autofocus (when you load the page you can type in the gamertag without clicking the textbox) would be enough, clearly not, I guess.
That's mine, it just wouldn't show unless I selected the default radio button. There's an error in your php scripting somewhere.
It works fine for me... what browser you using? The code's pretty messy, but it work 100% of the time when you type in a real gamertag.
Selecting "Posed" gave me an error at first as well, but it showed up alright after I refreshed the page.
Well, it should be working fine for you then... the back-end code is fine, maybe it's a plugin or something on your side... Whatever it is, it's definitely not caused by anything server-sided, as I've tested it tons of times, and people have used it successfully over 4000 times by now and I've not heard about the kind of issues you've described from any other user. :/
Nvm what I just said to sky if you got that error. Would you be so kind as to tell me what the error said?
Hmm... Unfortunately I don't remember what it said, specifically, and it's working fine for me now when I tried it again. Sorry.
