Hey, this is my first post in forge discussion, so, thanks in advance for your help!

With the replacement of infection mode in halo 4, I can no longer find a good way to make one team have different stats than another, can anyone point me in the right direction?

An example of this is pretty much like halo reach's infection mode, make one team spawn with shotty's and another spawn with increased speed and swords.

This is possible with separate spawns and ord drops, but is there any gametype that allows the modification of each teams loadouts/modifiers?

    Thanks!

Sadly, I don't think there is a way, besides the one you mentioned just now. :(

Darn, that means I can't port over a load of custom games/maps me and my friends used to play :( Well, thanks for answering!

I suppose you could start with minimal weapon loadouts for both teams, then start red team in a room containing the weapons you want them to have and blue team in a different room with the weapons they need. The room would only have exits using one way shields or teleporters with no way back in. This would prevent the other team from picking up their weapons. Place only team specific spawn points in the rooms too so that when they die, they respawn back in their "armory" room. It's not perfect but it could work for some game types. The issues I see with this is respawning would always have to be in the same room instead of various location on the map. Also when a player dies his weapons will fall and be up for grabs by the other team, which could cause issues.

Thanks, that's the work around I used for one of the maps I'm making, it works for it because we used a spawn room in halo reach too, but this irks me, I hope 343i add a gametype that enables this sort of customization in the future, people made a lot of interesting custom games with infection in 3/reach
