I've been working on a Guardian-inspired map (Shoutout to God0fForge for basing it off of his remake) but I have ran into a problem. Shown in the last picture, the right side of the map is very exposed, and i'm looking for some outside opinions on this. What would you guys say in regards to this exposed area - leave it for a risk vs. reward (you can see many angles, but many angles can see you)? Or should I put some LoS blockers in there? In your opinion, where would you personally place these blocking pieces? As a wall against the bridges/exposed areas in the top right of the map? Or would you place something mid-map that takes up space in order to block up more of the map?

Any opinions would be appreciated, thanks.

I can't really tell be these pictures. But as far as risk vs reward goes, it should mostly be implemented to areas with a power weapon or hight advantage. I don't really see "you can see many angles, but many angles can see you" as much of a risk vs reward. If it is left open, it will just make the map feel smaller, and if there is more LoS blockers it will feel larger.

If there is a power weapon on the platform in question, add more cover to other areas of the map, so the player does not have much to shoot at from that area, but it can be shot at from many angles. If there is not a power weapon, do the opposite.

people have used them successfully, like placing rocks where the invisible wall spot is... used just as decoration and with testing, it can be fine.

As shown in the screenshot of the map, it's unlikely anyone will ever hit that invisible wall anyway, unless they're trying to shoot someone in the toes.
