Added Shield doors in the corners to prevent ball from getting stuck in corners and to make game play faster Added to the ball mechanism to make it perfect from any faults. How does it work? Just like in soccer you are supposed to score a goal on the opposing team. Only in this game you use you hammers instead of your feet. Master the hammer master the game. What's the field like? The field or map is called World Cup a one of a kind. In most soccer games people would have problems reseting the soccer ball after you score. Not this one it boasts a 5 wall wide 10 wall long floating field. That is fully enclosed making it a floating soccer dome. Also when you score the ball the ball goes through our automated respawn system and resets in roughly 5 seconds. How does it play and when would I play it? This symmetrical map plays very well. It runs smoothly and is especially fun for guests and people who aren't very familiar with the game. It plays out very casually since you have to have a designated scorekeeper in the game. But if people caught the craze of this map I could see there being competitive games with designated scorekeepers on each team. And using a film to count goals if there were any disagreements. But the most likely play is when you want to screw around or are getting pissed off at Griff ball or playing Competitive game types. What about the rules? You play to 3 goals with a designated scorekeeper on each team. If there are any disputes the party leader goes into theater and checks out how many goals there really were. You may not go into the ball respawn system, if you do you get teleported to the middle of the map leaving your goal open for attack. You can kill people this will be soccer's equivalent to a slide tackle. But you can only assassinate people form behind seeing as everyone's invulnerable. Everything else is taken care of by the game type we provide. What are some hints/tips? The game is best played with 3v3 or 6v6 for competitive play. But for casual screwing around type play anywhere from 1-8 players on each team is great. Use the shield doors they're there to symbolize the ball getting thrown into play after out of bounds. But if you learn to hit the ball at them right you can use them as a bumper to score goals. To get a great hit on the ball try nudging it and then let it rolls a couple of feet then hit your hammer down it makes for a great power shot. If you and another player form the other team are running side by side try letting him get in front of you a little then "Dive Tackle" them. Even if the ball is rolling past you into your goal you can hit your hammer and knock it off path. How about some pictures? Yes sir lol after tweaking it forever it does work everytime. And no there's not a scoring system sadly. If you thought of one I could implement it into a V2. But what I do is have a designated scorekeeper for each team and then if there are still problems take it to theater mode lol. It's worked so far.
A classic soccer map. This inspired my game of soccer, which counts score, you should check it out, look in my sig. Nice job Sacred x War: Players arn't invinsible, there is no way of doing that unless everyone is on the same team.
Alright. Are the players invincible? Because that would make it more about the game of soccer than just killing people. But idk.
Yes everyone's invulnerable we tried it with being able to kill and people were being annoying so invulnerable it is! And I added a set of rules to play by. Thanks guys = )
I love the neatness and organization of the field, especially the fact that you have almost complete enclosure. The only thing I'd want to see changed is the use of walls fot the floor. Upside-down interlocked boxes would make the field much more smooth.
Yah it took the most time out of the whole map lol. But it works everytime 100% now. It's really kinda cool to just watch the ball go through it in forge sometimes lol.
Great map, I played it with some of my friends and they loved it to. This can actually get very competitive and fun. And it's impossible to break the map, we tried forever. And the ball system works like a charm. Amazing job guys.
