I was dickin' around in photoshop today and made a poster for my friend's concept band, Exidjent (Genre is in the name). CnC, mo' ****ers.
What genre of music? For CnC I would say the things I noticed most were the 4 corners (its considered a bad practice to put something in each corner, it is fine to have some empty space) though at least you didn't do it in the usual bad way. I also noticed a few rough edges on your letters; under the top of the T and Es there is a little leftover roughness, and on the diagonal there is a bit of pixellated roughness. This is not a big thing, and for all I know it is intentional, just me picking out an irregularity. Its a cool enough concept, so overall I would say good job.
Thanks Orlando. They're a sub-genre of metal called Djent (silent "D"). I'm thinking of removing 2 of the corners and resizing them a bit. As for the roughness, I think it's the glow on the text that's doing it; I put in a lot of noise on the glow. I'll look into it.
I feel like there is too much open space, especially between the corner symbol and the middle graphics. Also the corner symbols seem to be blurry. So pretty much what Orlando said. Also in the mid right part of the graphic there appears to be a cloud or something there, I'm not sure if it was intentional or accidental, but I like it, looks good.
What he said, don't put stuff in the corners, ever. You want a focal, whether its the art or the band name, its up to you. But when you put stuff in the corners like that, we all look at that instead. Cool concept though.
Basically what Orando said in regards to the corners. But also: Why pink? Not saying it's bad, just that it's a little odd.
i think the star stock you used (all the dots, im guessing) kind of looks weird when ontop of the focal, like the colors are a bit off imo other than that, its pretty cool, i like the color choice
I'm seeing the black dots allusion! The poster looks kinda...fuzzy. Other than that it looks really cool.
