Carousel (Derelict Remake) "Deep Space Arena #0198" Here is my rendition of a popular CE map from back in the day, Derelict. I made this for 2 reasons: First, I LOVE this map. Second, I believe this map to be an excellent 2v2 map, with both sprint and no sprint game-types. Supports all but Dominion and Extraction, will most likely put Extraction in, but because of the small size, I'm going to avoid putting Dominion in. Enjoy!, and feedback is always welcome. "Carousel LITE" is an optimized version for split-screen only, I had to take out everything that wasn't needed, plus no dynamic lighting helps. "Carousel NDL" is my favorite, and most accurate version to date without dynamic lighting, I could put in a ceiling and add more minute details. New pics to come. I liked this one a lot, but there's some issues that need addressing. Your damage boost spawns inside the map. There's also a lot of weapons on the map that aren't necessary.
Thanks for the feedback MickRaider, I'll fix the Damage Boost problem soon. And for the weapons, what would you suggest be taken out?, the original from CE actually had 2 or 3 more weapons than this map.
check out mine i put a rocket launcher in the middle on bottom floor, Overshield above rockets top floor and snipers at top floor on either sides as well as shotguns, kneedlers and pistols, but really do whatever u want when it comes to wepons as lons as u dont spawn with a rocket and its same distance from either spawn to power wepons and overshield and snipers doesnt really matter.

Lighting-wise, I prefer the map as it is shown in this thread with the shadows as opposed to the version we played in yesterday, biobeing. You can use a trait zone to create an invisible ceiling so the lighting will not be blocked by a solid ceiling, and it will still keep players from exiting your map. It's a well-made map and seemed faithful to my memories of the original.
