Orbital Slide Made by ForgeWolf007 After a few days work, I've have put together a Beta version of a new map/minigame: Orbital Slide: Yeah, I dosent look like much, but it does offer intresting chaotic gameplay. Orbital Slide intally started of as another players creation, this map was called SUPER HAPPY FUN SLIDE (yes, sounds ridiculous but thats what the guy called it). After having quite a bit of fun on it with my mates, I thought it might be wise to remake it in Halo 4. Some things from the Reach map have been removed due to affecting the gameplay and potential annoyence (fine precision). But its stays true to the orginal maps intentions. The aim of the humans is to remain in a box and avoid being run over by warthogs and mongooses driven by the Flood/Zombies The Flood (or rather actual humans due to removing the flood effect through customs) start of at top of the ramp with mongooses and warthogs avaliable, they can only use the drivers seat and must drive down the ramp and try to run over any humans in the box. Once they have made their pass, they get to the bottom of the ramp and teleported back to the top again in order to try again. The Zombies will have to be careful with their driving though, other wise they could be sent flying. The Humans start of with a Boltshot and either the choice of a Hologram or Active Camo and are located in a small room that they cannot leave without be teleported out of the map, nor can they use vehicles (Flood cant enter the room on foot, only though vehicles). Orginally, the Reach gametype gave the players random weapons, but I couldn find a random opition on the customs so I had to put on the Boltshots. Red lights and teleporter highlight where not to go. The humans have to dodge the vehicles coming down the ramp, if they die, they will join the zombies driving the vehicles, leading to chaotic gameplay on large games. If the flood drive the vehicles into the box and get out, they wont be able to fight the humans as well as they move at the speed of a normal human, and they Humans are armed with the Boltshots. So thats the map, both the gametype and map are on my fileshare, though I'm sure more work will need to be done, so I'm releasing it as a Beta. Feel free to try it, I might go on one of the GMT game nights and try and get a game with the map to see how it goes. Peace...
sounds like Speed Halo from reach Did you fix the glitch where the driver would sometimes go though the teleporter, but not activate it?

No I haven't fixed the glitch, it hasn't occurred on this map anyway. I'm sure you have all noticed but Speed has a much steep incline than Orbital Slide.
