Hey Everyone! I'd like to present my first ever map to Forge Hub: Da Capo A little about me; I am currently a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major in his junior year of college. I have always had a passion for the unknown and love diving into my thoughts and really thinking about the world around me. I have been a gamer all my life and have been a Halo fan since its initial release. I love forging and have spent countless hours playing around with my ideas, testing my creativity. I joined Forge Hub to finally present my maps, in an attempt to receive feedback which will better my skill as a forge nut. I hope to have a good relation with many, and will offer my support to all those who are in need. But for now, Enjoy Da Capo. TL;DR - I like science and video games, I'm pleased to join Forge Hub and help the community. Recommended Players; 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 Supported Gametypes; King of The Hill Capture The Flag Infinity Slayer About Da Capo; I am releasing this map in hopes of receiving criticisms which will allow the map to reach its full potential. Da Capo (Meaning From the Head, or From the Beginning) is a symmetrical map which offers straight lines of sight in areas, while still allowing adequate amounts of cover should the need arise. Each end of the map consists of a base, known as 'Blue Base' and 'Red Base'. In the middle of the map you will be able to see the pit-like flag rooms (The Pit from Halo 3) which offer multiple paths toward every part of the map, which flank the central structure. Enjoy. Here are a few screenshots of Da Capo; My Gamertag is iSpree v3. Please add me if you wish to download the map. Damn it, I hit f5 after being almost done with my post, so I'll be brief. Welcome to Forgehub. There's a bit with a ramp sticking out of the back of your blue base pic - it seems out of place and awkwardly sitting there. Is there anything you could do to "tuck it in" a bit more into the map? Also, I'm sure almost all of us here know the Pit This doesn't seem like a copycat map at all to me, so I'm glad for that.
Sure! Easy fix, It is a portion of a strut. I thought it added character but on second thought it will probably just inhibit jumping.
I wasn't talking about a strut I'm talking about the whole back ramp area. It's much larger than a strut..
