Has anybody else found that they cant download maps from people they know have a file share up. I was wondering if anybody else was experiencing it. This is mainly happening to me with people i have downloaded maps from on file share. i am finding i cant go back to there file share and download maps. Could any of these be the problem. 1. I have around 120 forge maps. is there a limit to how many you can download. 2. could it be internet problems. My fileshare search works for some people but not others. 3. Also i searched my own files share and only one map is on it when i have about 5. Right now i cant download from Pa1nts or fame28 and its kinda irritating me
No, its just stuffed in general they really need to fix it. The only way to make it so the maps definitely appear is via your Xbox Live profile in the in game Dashboard. One of the best ways for anyone to get to your file share via here is to get people to send you a message and you respond to it. Or if you are friends just have them go to it from their friends list. Yes, it is irritating but we are going to have to live with accessing it this way for now.
I noticed all you need is a pending friend request to use the dashboard fileshare. Send friend request, use alternate access, delete friend request.
Something that someone pointed out that works far better is a private chat invite. From that screen if you press A on the invite you can get to their profile.
