This is a remake, or at least successor, to our previously successful map (also "Episphere") on Reach. The base is a corridor 4 way (i believe that's the name. It's an Impact exclusive object.) I think ours is either in 15 or 10 degree rotations but we stopped using 5x5's in some parts because of how small they were and the fact they were not easy to make smooth. A lot of larger objects took their place and the inside is now seamless with all edge clipping into a another object. The unlimited thruster is necessary as it is the successor to the evade AA in Reach. It actually help gameplay as it is indeed more of a challenge. It's designed so that if you have enough people you can shoot blindly. As for the gametype, we mostly just ported the one from reach with minor tweaks to traits. We intend to release more gametype variants as we find more ways to creatively add them. Thank you for asking, and apologies for the inconvenience of coincidence!
Yeah thats pretty much how its done along with clever use of the magnets. It took something figuring out, but we devised a fairly tedious method that produced excellent results. Yeah we are currently developing some alternate gametypes to release along side the traditional slayer variant, so once they are perfected, the whole chi-bang will be uploaded to my file share.
I noticed exactly the same thing. Hooray for immaturity! Onto the map - this looks an absolute blast to play. A friend of mine made a gametype really similar to this one, but the map was just the Grifball Arena of Erosion. This looks miles better, for obvious reasons. I'm going to have to play this in a customs lobby sometime.

I just play orbifiesta, and I try the Reach version. I hope 343i will create a playlist for Episphere!!!
I'm surprised you haven't played the Reach version - I dialed it up in TCOJ lobbies a couple of times (much to the distress of Overdoziz).
If they bring Action Sack back I'm going to campaign to get this into Matchmaking. Action Sack has always comprised of fun **** like this and it would fit well there.
