Dolan here, with another map for ya! This time I have "Intersect", an original creation meant to function as a spiritual successor to Lockout (Halo 2) & Guardian (Halo 3). The map consists of 4 bases, all connected by narrow bridges/walkways. There are 2 main bases, and 2 secondaries. For red team, they get a more heavily fortified main base, but a weaker secondary. Blue team gets a weaker main, but a stronger secondary. To follow, one base receives a sniper, while the other receives a shotgun. I believe these things add an interesting dynamic to the gameplay. But, don't take my word for it, try it for yourself Here's some screenshots of the map: Far-off Overview Blue Base Red Base Bottom Middle Red Secondary Blue Secondary I'll be posting a second version with competitive static weapon spawns once this has all the kinks worked out and is ready for full release. Until then, it'll work with anything that supports Infinity settings.
This looks really good, the forging is very clean. One thing catches my eye though, that center platform could probably do with a bit of cover around the edges, to protect from sharpshooters on the outside? Apart from that though this looks really balanced
It is forged clean but it is waaay to open and in some parts you hit ur head when trying to jump. other than that looking good
I'm definitely going to try and add some cover to top mid, as well as the main elbows. Any specific areas where you feel hitting your head negatively effects the gameplay? I know of a few spots where it happens, but none that are a huge hindrance to the gameplay.
try making a hight difference towards the middle so los will be blocked off more and you can only see all players in the middle on one of those buildings, and you bounce ur head at some of the entrances of the buildings
