    Forsaken

"A Desolate cave on a Derelict Forerunner planet is forever home to this inactive scientific outpost."

The atmospheric feel of Erosion fit perfectly for how I imagined Desolation in this game, the green glow of the cave and the rock outline accentuate the dreariness and abandoned feeling.

As always, all gametypes, 16 players, and boat loads of nostalgia are supported.

Feel free to leave any comments/feedback/suggestions but more importantly download and have a great time playing

I love forging and love making remakes, but make no mistake I do it for you, the community.
    Enjoy, Nick

I've been remaking this one on Ravine...well it is more of a bastardized hybrid of Desolation and Derelict. There are aspects in mine from both maps. But I really like the idea of this being on Erosion. The grungy brown pieces are definitely more reminiscent of Desolation. I don't know about the gameplay or how to scale this is, but it looks good from what I can see. Nice job.

It looks great, and yet at the same time I can't help but feel like it's being dragged down by Erosion's bland color palette. I'll definitely give it a spin, though.

Good luck finishing your map, Im glad you like it so far.
The scaling is very accurate, I did extensive measuring/comparing
and I built it in Reach, so Ive been refining it for quite awhile

The gameplay.. well, its Desolation, so it sucks. ;)

Its been fun in playtesting so far, so Im excited to hear more feedback.

I really like what you have done with this map! The feel of Erosion's ruddy brown colors can give any map a new sense of feel. I don't care what anyone says, when I start a map, I start with Erosion to see if it works. As for the limited color pallete, we were using like 256 shades of grey for so long, anything different is a welcome change!
    Keep up the good work!

    More like 50 shades...

Anyways, this was a Halo CE map right? Or was that Derelict? Either way, looks great!

Thanks Shadowcat, I knew I wouldnt have pretty shadows but I had a feeling the atmosphere the cave brings would make up for it.

    Glad you like it
