    Taurus Station
    Name subject to change. Check out the map and give suggestions.

    An original map on impact. A big team battle map on the asteroid with the artifact building.
    It Is a mostly symmetrical horseshoe style map with two identical bases, a central building and a ridge with a reactor base on one side and a research site on the other.

    I really dislike forge maps that don't seem natural that have buildings that just look like random stuff put together. So in building this map I tried to have most of the map look like it could be on a asteroid mining facility. The map currently has low Gravity and speed all over the exteriors on the map but has increased gravity and speed in the central. Neither the outside nor the central interior is to drastic that it feels uncompetitive or like a mini game map. This was the idea that got me building on the map. I also played around with gravity volumes on ramps to give vehicles a bit of weightlessness and give the artifact an attraction to kill ball.

    This is the 1st map I have posted up to the site and I have to admit spawning,kill zones and weapon placement could be bad. I'm willing to take criticism and advice. But I really think this is a pretty good map.


    Game modes- BTB, inf Slayer, and CTF
    Weapons-
    Initial - 2 snipers, rocket, lazer, railgun
    Random- 3 shotgun, scatter, sword... Posting this makes me want to put some more.

    Vehicles-
    Mongoose, rocket hog, worthog, mantis

    You can embed using [​IMG] tags.

    As for the map, it looks like it's very open, especially in the center. Closing off some of the crossmap lines of sight could help reduce the power of the bases, which seem pretty overpowered at the moment.

    try making a building that you think will go with the map so like a launch pad/ heli pad raised of the floor with crates ready to go in transit, with a few rocks on the ground, dont just stick building blocks for in the ground.
