On two of my maps now I have had a strange glitch occur with spawn points and initial spawn points. The spawn point is still there, you can see it and you get the info pop up telling you it's a spawn point, but when you try to grab and/or delete it, it will not respond. It's as if it's now part of the canvas. I have saved, left the map, and returned to find the spawn point still stuck. As far as I know I would have to use "delete all" to remove it, but that would mean replacing all of the spawn points. Has anyone else had this issue and did you find a way to make the spawn point editable again? (Oh, and sorry about the stupid spelling mistake in the thread title *slaps forehead*)
It could be locked and then phased just enough into the ground so you can't pick it up. Try moving the piece underneath it or if its landscape you might have to 'delete all' spawns to get rid of it. If that doesn't work for you just put a rock over it so no one will spawn there.
Man do I ever feel stupid. :/ Yep, that was it. I don't know how but it got locked and since it doesn't really look red when highlighted I didn't even think of that. Thanks guys and I am sorry about my derpyness.
yea many items dont' look very red/green at all when pointed at... another thing to look out for is if your floor piece is too low on the map the spawn points will dissappear into oblivion after a second after dropping it there. bring it up a few notches and it fixes. but it appears to remove the item rather than just keeping it on the seafloor, for instance. there doesn't appear to be a need to do the "Delete all of these" to make sure there are no deadly spawn points under the ocean, for instance. But sometimes I just did it for peace of mind.
