    Hi all,

Firstly I am a complete novice on posting so please do not be too unkind.
Secondly I have been spending too much time on forge and I have created a map which I would like to share and would really appreciate feedback on.

The map is called Look Out and is (very loosely) based upon Lockout and many other multiplayer levels I have played and enjoyed.

This map is created with the intention of balance and fast paced action. I have tested it at numerous LAN nights and it has seemed to be very successful. I have tried to incorporate the main basic principles of Flow and the Risk Reward scenario. I realise that weapons and their placement may need tweaking and would love constructive feedback.

The main principle of the map is to be fun and as such I have not paid too much regard to the aesphetics. Although there are struts and walkways below the main centre platform these are not accessible and are just there to add the concept of support to the structure.

I've included a couple of pictures:

Please have a few games and let me know your opinions, anything that is recomended and I implement will receive due credit.

Thanks you for checking out my map and I hope you enjoy!

    Deadly Dermott.

I was lucky enough to test this map the other night and really enjoyed it. We played it to death and only managed to suggest some weapon position changes. Don't be put off by the images, the map is very well balanced and laid out. Even though I thought this map would be it good it was better than I expected!

Thanks mate and just to clarify I swapped some of the weapon locations like suggested, along with weapon spawn times and ammo amount! I also changed the little ramps ( from the building with the sniper) around as so they did not slope and made it easier to jump to the middle platform.

I'm thinking of adding a capture the flag mode to this map. What are your thoughts and suggestions for this? (Flag placements, is the map too small?, would I need to add some more cover?)

I think the map is big enough for 3 vs 3 CTF but I'm struggling to offer a suggestion for the flag placement. I think the man cannon's need to be disabled! If you try some flag points I'd be happy to test them with you!

Tried a few flag placement points and it worked best at the Sticky Launcher corner and the opposite corner (between the Sniper spawn and the Saw spawn buildings). Worked better than I thought but could do with a few changes to the map to ensure one flag point doesn't have an advantage. Would still welcome any feedback for just Slayer games!

Is this outside the main Ravine map area ? It seem unusually close to the water.

It's to the side of the main area and the actual level is well above the water. It might just be the angle of the image!
