Low gravity = easier loops?

I just thought of something, but don't have access to an xbox right now.

Does putting down a gravity volume (pointed up) make more easy to make a loop in a mongoose? I remember a loop on a halo 3 race map, but it took up a lot of budget, I believe. It seems to me like it would work...

Also, if it does, could you stop the loop halfway and be able to drive upside down (so long as there were two gravity volumes pointed up for net upward gravity?)

EDIT: Hmm... meant to put a question mark on that topic title

Messed with it a little while ago - seemed like it should be possible, but I couldn't get it to work. Once you hit a certain point, the game considers you as "upside down" and ejects you from the vehicle like it would if you'd rolled it over. I had it so I could drop a Mongoose into the loop and it went around on it's own though. Just gotta find way to get around the upside down bit.

Gravity Volumes and Trait Zones don't effect vehicles unfortunately.

If Gravity Volumes don't affect vehicles, why can you jump farther when using them (Mantis not included) And why do Wraiths and Ghosts float on the top o the Gravity Volumes?

grav volumes effect vehicles, but trait zones don't.
